Antibiotic Resistance

At the time of this modernization, all diseases, fever, cough, flu and poor health has become a habit for the people of Malaysia and this becomes a daily routine of society. When there is a problem, there should be a solution, then antibiotics exist. These antibiotics have been adapted in a society burdened by poor health. What is antibiotic exactly? Are these antibiotics are able to withstand the pain of a patient? From the point of dictionaries hall fourth edition, durability means the resistance (strength), resistance or the ability to endure (suffer and others) something, longevity (liver), strength (liver), while antibiotics means a chemical produced by microorganisms can prevent reproduction or destroy other microorganisms such as bacteria (used in the treatment of infectious diseases in humans, animals, and plants). When combined, these antibiotic resistance is a natural phenomenon. When an antibiotic is used, the bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics have a greater chance for survival than the "bare".
Process of the bacteria

Bacteria can acquire antibiotic resistance genes from other bacteria in several ways. By undergoing a simple mating process called "conjugation," bacteria can transfer genetic material, including genes encoding resistance to antibiotics(found on plasmids and transposons) from one bacterium to another.

'Superbugs' are bacteria that are resistant to several different antibiotics. The methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteria commonly found in hospitals, and the bacteria that cause tuberculosis (Mycobacterium tuberculosis), are now very hard to treat because of antibiotic resistance.

Most common example how antibiotic resistance spread.

Antimicrobial resistance occurs when microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites change in ways that render the medications used to cure the infections they cause ineffective. When the microorganisms become resistant to most antimicrobials they are often referred to as “superbugs”.
